This is a piece I was working on before the girls were born. I thought about it recently because the concept was the same that I have been working on lately. The idea of mixing fabric with my paintings, sewing on the canvas. (This is incomplete my plan was and is to make the neckties hanging from the trees from the fabric of real neckties.) I am so surprised that this idea has been bumping around in my head for so long and I had not been productive. That is all changing. Love to hear any comments

Its exciting to see this kind of experimentation. Love, love, love, "The Girls". this may come as a surprise, but if you need neckties, I have a whole container full....

It seems we had the same idea! I've been making mixed media works using fabric and thread. I love the outcome!
